On Saturday May 20th CoderDojo Belgium and the Software Languages Lab of Vrije Universiteit Brussel organized “CoderDojo (B)XL”, an extra-large CoderDojo for the Brussel's youth.

During this second edition of CoderDojo (B)XL at Muntpunt more than 75 young participants from all over Brussels learned to code in a playful way. The youngsters could participate for free in different cool programming activities such as discovering logical principles through unplugged sessions, designing their own website, developing mobile apps or assembling and programming their own robot. Since the event was part of the Computer Science without Borders project, all activities ware inspired by heroes and heroines from Computer Science.

At the end of an intensive day full of coding fun our young coders went home with a hardware package to continue programming at home.

Watch here how much fun it was and why you should definitely attend next year!
